2026 BARTLETT LIONS CLUB SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

INTRODUCTION

• The Bartlett Lions Club Scholarship is funded to promote good citizenship, encourage community service, promote interest in community welfare, and encourage high ethical standards. 
• The Bartlett Lions Club Scholarship Program aims to recognize high school seniors residing in the Bartlett area with the specific postal zip codes of 38133, 38134, 38135 and some of 38002.
• The Bartlett Lions Club recognizes that the journey to higher education takes many forms and encourages students of all education paths to apply. 
• Additionally, students will be invited to observe and experience our organization's activities and services, representing our club’s heart for service, designed to empower you to make a meaningful impact on your community. Examples include: Events and projects reflect Bartlett Lions Club commitment to service. Attending monthly meetings in person or via Zoom.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA  

To be eligible for the Bartlett Lions Club Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a high school senior residing in the Bartlett area.
• Will pursue higher education in a recognized program or institution.
• Have a genuine interest in community service activities.

APPLICATION PROCESS

‍Selection of the Scholarship Students

• Selection: Bartlett Lions Club Scholarship Committee will carefully review all applications that are received by March 31st.
• Notification: Students will be informed of their selection in April.
• Scholarship – If you are selected you will receive a $1,000 scholarship. 

BLC SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS

• Hands-on Experience:  We hope to encourage a lifelong sense of purpose and commitment by inviting students to actively engage in various Bartlett Lions Club activities, gaining insight into our services and initiatives.
• Learning Opportunities: Students will have the chance to learn from experienced members, gaining personal and professional growth.
• Networking: Students will have the opportunity to connect with club members in our organization and the community.

Application: The scholarship application forms will be available to all eligible seniors in the Bartlett area. Applications will be available on the Bartlett Lions Club website. Application Submission: Interested students will need to submit completed application forms, including personal statements highlighting their achievements and interest in the scholarship.

These are due by March 31st.
